The Family That Campaigns Together, Stays Together

Happy Memorial Day and thank you to all who have served! My family walked with me in my first campaign parade– the Itasca Memorial Day Parade. It was super hot, but early in the day, thank goodness. My teenager told me our campaign shirts were “totally cool” and we all had fun together, so I am counting this as a HUGE victory, parenting-wise. I love having my husband and my four kids witnessing this election process right alongside me, up close and personal, so they can see what it looks like to put yourself out there as a candidate, as a community member and as a citizen.
